    Which headers fit the bill?

I realize this post is a few months old. I run 2 sets of custom made headers. Equal to, or just a tad more, than anything "off the shelf" as far as cost. Have one set on a CJ7/360 and one set on a custom tube frame '40 Plymouth truck with a 440. The ones on the Jeep are almost 30 years old with...

67 Charger - Tailights not working

I had the same problem. I ran dedicated ground wires to each have of the tail light housings to be sure, because of the fresh paint. I do that on all cars anyway, but it turned out to be the resistance wire in the left side of the trunk.

    Another plane crash

Prayers for all on board ,on the ground and families . I seen a couple YouTube clips that said it came down from aprox 1600 ft. during take off. That may change? That plane was down fast.

    Found 71 HP2 block in Germany, 1A110317

Nice find, August is a pretty early build date for a 71 engine but is possible. There are guys on here with far more information about this kind of identification than myself. As far I know you need the original cars VIN number to tell if that block was from a U code or V code car. I think...

I know this is an old thread, when ordering your S60 from Strange you have to ask for the clips. A little Strange if you ask me, pun intended.

And a Z28 302 is 1.9. And there are about ten different longer rod lengths for a big block Chevy. None shorter.

67 Charger - Tailights not working

Good morning, today I am gong to tackle the rear tailight problem. My license plate light does not work. I know of the "bundle" of wires that are wrapped in tape and stuffed in the left rear quarter crevice under the spare tire. I will start there. I also am aware of the breaker in the driver...

    Found 71 HP2 block in Germany, 1A110317

A few months ago I found a 71 HP block in Germany for my 71 Suburban 440 4spd project. VIN stamp: 1A110317 Casting date: May 18, 1970 Assembly date: August 14, 1970 It still has the heavy rods in it, but mated to TRW L2295 pistons. Crank is toast (ran without oil) and balancer is MIA. It came...

    440 mopar rods

408 stroker. Or 383/400 Chev. Or 347 Ford. They all run quicker than comparable stock engines of the same cubes. What do these three engines have in common? Low rod/stroke ratios. The BB Chryslers have the largest r/s ratio of all the popular engines, with the 383/400 at 1.88. A 454 Chev is...
