    1966 Coronet Project

Took the console apart and ready to get it in a bit better shape. Taking apart an almost 60 year old piece of plastic was a bit nerve wracking. Step one. Polish the stainless. The console box was locked anyone have any ideas where to replacements or unlock?

    Updating the Super Street Mopar

Over the last few days I've been plugging away on the X pipe positioning. Got it squared away today. The remnants I picked up have helped out giving me needed material. I finally had a chance to use the pipe cutter I picked up a few years ago at the March Meets. Great score, cost me $5.00. The...

best tire combo? 275/60/15 rear.. 235/60/15 looks short for front.

indeed. hoping i just like the look with the 275 60's in back, and 255 60's up front. I wan the front up a bit higher, but with the 235 60's i have now, i'd have to raise car too much, and leave a lot of open front wheel well exposed. if i was to do it ALL over again, i'd get the 295 50s on 10"...

Stellantis Brings The HEMI Back !!

Nothing new there. I worked in a powdered metal factory for over 25 years. Although our plant did not produce connecting rods, other places did, mainly for GM.

    383 lifter question

Thanks, I'll have to check pressure, all I have is factory dash gauge. Shows 20 psi at start up but goes up to 40 fairly quick. Possibly previous owner used wrong oil? I have Lucas 10w 30 for classic cars in it now. I planned on changing to 10w 40 after I change it to remove the marvel mystery oil.

FOR SALE 1968 Dodge Dart (L 023 clone)

Nothing! Guess the 023 is an animal of it's own.. It doesn't have a fiberglass front end and the rest of the panel were not dipped in acid to lighten the weight. It's automatic - I think all the 023 had 4 speeds. It supposedly had a 426 cross ram hemi before the 383 was installed. To me it...

    Door locks push botton ignition

I am asking because I AM going to do it. Sure wouldn't have asked if I wanted to use a key, sure wouldn't have put a Hellcat and a full Qa1 suspension if I wanted to drive it with a 440. ;-)
