    Lakewood bellhousing clutch fork/spring issue

Looking at the pics a little closer, it looks like the fork is not hitting the pivot in the right spot, the groove where it is supposed to. I may be wrong as its hard to see. When I first installed my Lakewood, the throwout bearing actually slipped off one side of the fork, it was a mess. I...

'70 Charger - Thoughts on installing Fuel Line Check Valve to help reducing starting turns

I have conflicting info on this. Some say the fuel pump has a check valve and some say it drains back to the tank. Are you sure it drains to the tank? My apologies just want to double check.

    383 lifter question

I tried pushing down on each lifter with push rod and couldn't move any of them. First picture is scotchbrited lifter, last two are from cylinder 6, where I believe ticking was coming from. I didn't see this yesterday, but once I wiped them off and looked in good light, at some point, they are...

Are these Bendix disk brakes on this K member? Is it worth using these parts to convert from drums?

Here are some close ups of the rotors and spindles. From what I can see, they look to be the Bendix stuff based on other pictures I found online. The guy selling the stuff said he should theoretically have the callipers and master cylinder/booster combo but has no idea where those parts are at...

'70 Charger - Thoughts on installing Fuel Line Check Valve to help reducing starting turns

FYI, I only use ethanol-free gas. I read that the fuel pump is supposed to have a its own check valve so not sure if it goes back to the tank or just the fuel pump. The car original had a 318, it was replaced with a 72 440. The carb is a Carter 4 bbl. Not sure if that helps with the...

'70 Charger - Thoughts on installing Fuel Line Check Valve to help reducing starting turns

Hi good question and no, no entirely sure. I just went and opened up the air cleaner and the choke was closed and then I gently opened it and then it retracted. It was a tiny bit sticky to close so I sprayed some Corrosion X on the linkages and it retracted a little better but that doesn't...
