So I ordered a Helwig 5904 and it is bent nearly identical to the QA1 bar.
After studying the matter further, it looks like either sway bar might just clear the strut rods if very carefully mounted through the QA1 Kmember -
I'll have to modify the splash shields, but these are old and...
69 RR. Lots of concentric ones..
Steering Column Poker.
I'll see your bent and raise you a cut. (I have no idea why. Everything look original otherwise.)
Why not a custom set?
Low cost and competitive quality.
These cost me $320.00.
Have a set on a Jeep CJ from the
same builder installed more than
20 years ago. Zero issues
Yesterday I had no power at the resistance wire and it was not in good condition, so I changed it but the lights still did not work with the light switch on. I then removed the tape around the cluster of wires and found some bare wires, hard and dry ( see photo) , which I cut out about 12 inch...
Something is not right with linkage. It's all mechanical only thing the electric heater on divorced choke does is turn it off quicker, emissions. Is it colder now? Most of the country just went through a pretty deep freeze. Is the pull off not opening the choke partially after it starts and it's...
There is a AGM battery in every vehicle with battery inside passenger compartment/trunk. They work well. They actually work the same as a lead acid battery except instead of liquid acid it is Absorbent Glass Mat in between the plates.
I can vouch for that. I have 17" wheels with 28" tall tires on "the roach" (235-60-R17) & would have liked to get some wider tires for the rear, but the available wider tires would have meant a sacrificing tire height and I didn't want the rubber band look.
Have you double checked that the choke rod pushes up when cold?
The fast idle step is very visible on the cam on the prim throttle shaft.
When the engine (Choke) is cold, just touching the throttle should immediately raise the bolt that moves against the prim throttle shaft cam and put it on...
...& have a reasonable idle....& the same cam in a 440 is a dog. Another benefit of the short rod: max force is exerted on the crank when the rod is 90* to the throw. This happens higher in the bore with a shorter rod, where the compression pressure is greater on the compression stroke. It has a...
I’m living in Spain at this moment, althought my Charger is in Venezuela yet.
(Weather there is nice, but the rest sucks LOL).
The POWERMASTER 7019 would be the alternative to the TuffStuff 8509. But PowerMaster is also Roundback, which would be more “correct” to your 68. Since will come...
Engine masters did a comparison test, of a 383 Chevy, and a 383 Mopar.
Strangely enough, the Mopar WON, in spite of the horrible handicap of too long rods. The too-long rod motor made about thirty more ft/lb of torque below power peak, and the same horsepower.
That may work, I don't know. At a glance, it reminds me of those plastic automatic transmission pan gaskets...the ones with the rubber ribs in them for sealing. They seemed to work well.
I use this:
This sealant seems to be the best that I have ever used. NO black, ultra gray, blue, orange or...
I had the front doors on both my ram 2500 and my Grand Cherokee, done to match the factory "deep tint" rear windows. Makes a huge difference in glare, especially when you have contact lenses, even at night. Cuts down on the "starburst" effect, a LOT.
