Has anyone figured out how to get a windshield shipped at a reasonable price? The price is roughly the same be it directly shipped from AMD, or purchasing on another site Summit Racing, Classic Industries etc.... Shipping is the same price as the windshield. That's a tough one to swallow.
I just painted my first complete car with single stage. I have the entire car color/wet sanded to 3000 grit. Next is the cut and buff process, but I'm new to that as well. I am looking for input on the steps to do this. I pictured the products I have to work with. I've watched a ton of...
I want to start a thread where us beginners can post questions for the pros and experienced body and paint guys. I have so many questions, it seems silly to create a thread for each question as it comes up.
My first question: After blocking and feeling satisfied with my body work; do I need...
I'm painting my '64 Dodge the factory color Formal Black. I started this project years ago when I painted the wheels and engine compartment. I used single stage paint.

I am looking for a recommendation on an inexpensive DA. I'm not a professional body person and don't have a lot to spend... maybe $50-$100. I guess what I'm trying to say is what do you recommend for entry level...
I have a lot of over-spray from paint and adhesives on some of my windows. This is build-up that typical glass cleaner won't cut. I was thinking I'd use acetone, or maybe even lacquer thinner if it's harmless to the glass.
Does anyone have any input on this? Thank you!
I have a '64 Dodge Polara. The original color is white. I'm getting ready to paint the car, so I got my hands on a paint chip chart for 1964. After looking at the various colors Chrysler offered in 1964, I've decided I need the car to be black. (It's got a red interior.)
Here's my...
