I second Topher as the expert. I met him a couple months ago as he was in town and I handed off my 70 charger wiper motor and headlight motor - definitely a cool dude. I got them back a few weeks ago when he was back in town - all tested and looking like they came from the factory. Well worth...
Exactly right! Love or hate, no matter which side you're on, that boldness in automobile design can be appreciated by all classic cars lovers. In current times there would never be a one year only body style. I dig the '70 Coronet station wagons too. Probably not too many of those were saved...
I do enjoy watching the old NFL Films 1/2 hour highlight shows of the early Super Bowls when the NFL Network plays them this week every year (started last Saturday). I like the first 10 the most.
I doubt you will need locators. Springs can be a problem. Inners can rub the guide. Back then we used to get the guides cut for proper seal fitment and the smaller seal would not get raked off the guide by the inner spring.
Good evening! About 20 years ago I bought a 1972 Chrysler Newport with the plan that some day I'm going to rebuild the heavy-duty 230 casting 400. Some day is now here. It's got the 346 heads and I'm ok with that. KB 240 pistons hung on the factory rods on a steel 383 crank, all nicely...
Under the car line you only have two possibilities for B-Bodies. 2822880 std cluster and 2857185 Rallye cluster. So if the Coronet is not Rallye you would take the 2822880. Clear as mud.
My fury has been running a classic f.a.s.t mpi since 2009. I did not rewire the car. I did run some new circuits though. Walbro 255 pump hung on the frame rail, it is noisy.
Oem lean burn dizzy is the cheap way for computer control timing if you don't choose to use dual sync
Huh, that does not add up. The one I got from Tanks, Inc. was actually pretty quiet. You could hear it before startup during the key-on prime sequence but once the car was running it was essentially inaudible. Even at idle I never noticed it. It was a return system, not sure if that helps reduce...
The '70 Super Bee front end was a love-it-or-hate-it design. I was always drawn to it for it's uniqueness. Dodge designers were very bold and brave back in the day to come up with that design and actually build it. One car I wish I had was a '70 Coronet station wagon...with that same front end...
That wife is down the road so you should have kept the car.... U code verts are pretty rare... I've done a fair amount of work on a couple of them... A factory black one & a factory purple one...
Came close to owning a 440-6 4spd vert... Honestly kinda glad I didn't buy it.. I prefer stuff I...
