I have an 8 3/4 rearend in a 70 roadrunner. 489 case I got from a friend. Said it was I 391 suregrip. 11 teeth on the pinion, 43 teeth on ring gear. Only numbers I see on ring rear is 537. So what do I have here ???
At a loss here. 383, 727 auto. Starter clicks hard. 3 new starters same thing. Engine spins by hand. Change ignition switch on fire twice . Same thing. It's like the starter hits the flywheel. I'm at a loss. Any ideals be appreciated
is there a gasket between the booster and the master cylinder ? and on back of master cylinder does the metal retainer with two screws and rubber go on if its power or is that just for manual brakes ? thanks
im not sure but i thought that the 11 inch flywheel was used in the 440 426 and the 10.5 flywheel was 383 is that correct ? and how do you measure the bellhousing to know if its an 11 or 10.5 ? thanks
i have a 70 roadrunner, thinking about trading it for a 68 charger. just a little undecided. my first car was a 69 charger and i wish i had it back. but my roaadrunner is nice project also. what do you guys think ? stuck between two b bodies
