    LED tail lights

I just ordered and installed LED bulbs in the tail lights of my 64 Fury I have looked for some time to find LED lights that are bright. Had some from NAPA that were not any brighter then regular 1157 bulbs. These are from superbrightleds.com. I will order more for my other cars. I am only...

Which LED bulb for 69 Charger inner tail lights?

I have been searching high and low for a LED tail light bulb that matches the factory brightness of the original 1095 bulb. I took a chance and bought LED 1156s, way too bright. I understand a #67 or #89 bulb will work, but when I search suppliers, the 1156 is also listed. I am concerned I...

    Unscrewing my dash

Heard about some led replacement dash lights that are a little brighter, non polar and dimmable, so those are on order. This also seemed a perfect time to replace all the indicator lights while its open so #57 bulbs here we come.

    Household LED Bulb Failure

Of all the 48" fluorescent tubes that I've switched to LED tubes over the past five years in the shop and a couple in the house, none have failed so far. I did bypass the ballasts on all of the fixtures as it was recommended. Brighter light and instant on in cold weather. At work, they went...

    I've seen the light...

I replaced 14 fluorescent light fixtures in my shop with LED lights from Amazon. They weren't very expensive, and they're a lot brighter than the fluorescent. They also don't take any time to warm up. One thing I learned from reading the reviews is that if you plug too many of them together...

    Household LED Bulb Failure

Get LEDs that are a warm color temperature (yellow not ice cold white). They're more natural that way. I'm installing LED recessed lights in my apt renovation and they have a 5 position color temp switch on them, from orange through warm daylight all the way to ice cold nearly florescent tube white.

    LED Headlight Conversion - Delta

I used the black ones below in my 72. They are great lights and DOT legal. These are a different looking light so all depends what you are looking for in the looks department. I attached a picture of what they look like when they are on and off. I rewired the entire car so low and high are all 4...

    More LED bulb issues

I have full chingchong no name brand LED's from Amazon everywhere in my Satellite, except headlights. Took an LED flasher module to correct the hyper flash, same as you, but I have added no resistors to make these work. They are nice and bright and park lights/brake lights work as they should...

    Directional signal flasher question

You definitely need to run an LED flasher. I used this one from Amazon. And you will need 2 of them as there is a separate flasher for the 4 ways or hazard lights.

How about just a random picture. NOT the entire car

A little LED vs incandescent comparison. I’ve only changed the side markers to led, running lights haven’t been yet, more visibility equals more safety

Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

My power bill dropped in December. I had been paying a flat rate of around $80 per month (Canadian dollars), but they said I was using less power this year so it got reduced to $68 per month.

    Unscrewing my dash

Got the relay wired correctly and the head lights function perfectly. Did the modifications at the relay so the install looks original but I get to keep my led headlights. Pulled the dash for the speedo AGAIN! .

    Low alternator charge at idle

Is there any special modifications required to get the LED lights to work with our cars? I seem to recall when LED headlights first came out that some additional wiring upgrades were required.

66/67 Instrument panel light bulbs - LED equivalent

Yup. Amazon generic LED equivalents to original "158" bulbs. Got a 20pk for $13. Yes they will dim, but not manufacturer specified. Many choices on Amazon. I have replaced most of the lighting on the Satellite with LED bulbs over time including front markers, tail lights, interior... left the...

    Unscrewing my dash

Looks like you have the added complexity of AC. I on the other hand am starting to suspect hack wiring. OP put in led lights and I think he chopped where he shouldn't have. Hopefully find out more tomorrow. The signals that leave the relay arent the same as what arrives at the motor.

Relays Fix for B Body Headlight Issue

Basic idea of the headlight relay kit is to provide a higher voltage to the OE incadescent lights for increased brightness. For me, and my 70RR I upgraded to LED headlights which draw about 70% less current than incadescents.. Just my $0.02...
