Trying something different and wonder what y’all’s opinions are on this one? Haven’t done the other yet as I wanted to see how it turned out first. I kind of like the look of it myself, but is it too gold of a color? These pice are taken under LED shop lights so it makes things seem really...
i have what i need to replace them.whats the easiest way to install them without breaking anything.
it looks tough to reach from underneath with the cluster still in.
i dont want to pull that round electrical plug if i dont have too.im afraid of it breaking.
can i pull the cluster far enough...
Here is the link for the LED Flasher.
I replaced all my lights except headlights with LED's, so I want to confirm which bulb I used for the dash lights.
There were different bulbs and bases everywhere.
I'll check it out tonight, and get that link to you tomorrow.
Happy Holidays !!
Where are the flashers located? I have LEDS in the rear of the Coronet, and both turn signals/flashers work fine. Tried to put the front LED bulbs in and it wasn't happy.
Yes, LED headlights do have a different color and are brighter. The car companies aren't going to stop manufacturing them, so what do you want to do about it other then piss and moan here? If it's that much of an issue for some, perhaps night driving isn't for them any longer.
...Usually it’s a lifted truck and the lights have never been adjusted so it’s a total **** show . My eyes really struggle with blue bright ledlights wether in my mirror or on coming traffic they produce such a powerful glare. The effects of a less draw and maybe a longer life( they still get...
I have a 4 post mainly for storage. I did get the trolley jack also. It came with the caster kit and 3 drip trays also. I added LED strip lights underneath. No need for drop lights when working on something.
My comparison goes back to early last year, electrical specs are available on each respective website. The major reason I chose the Holley retro-brights was not for their brightness but rather physical dimenisons, Octane is local for me in SoCal and I actually went to their distributor location...
The new tail lights are LED panels from digi tail. I’m using the sockets to get signal for running, turn signals and brake lights from socket pig tail to operate the lights. All the gounds are soldered and heat shrinked. Playing with it this morning and noticed with lights on turning the turn...
...Not sure when the revised version entered into the game.
80 amps versions of the same revised squareback alt from 80s cars are available thought. They are able to source around 45 amps at iddle.
Clean contacts, plugs, terminals… that will help.
I’m not fan of ledlights on old/classic cars.
I HAVE THIS SET OF TOW MIRROR LIGHTS THAT WERE ON MY 2022 RAM 2500 TOW MIRRORS
THESE ARE LED SWITCHBACK LIGHTS FROM BOOST AUTO PARTS THAT I BOUGHT NEW A FEW MONTHS AGO
THESE LIGHTS HAVE THE SMOKE LENS AND ARE WHITE LED AS RUNNING LIGHTS AND AMBER LED WHEN THEY FLASH
THE PASSENGER SIDE LIGHT HAS...
After doing the work, replaced the bulbs even though they were working, the old bulbs were quite dust-coated. Yeah, on mine the reverse and 1st gear buttons are slightly dimmer; but when pressed in they’re brighter. I don't think this is unusual seeing some other buttons. Never thought of...
Just wondering, is it possible to hook up a light to go on at a certain RPM? Most of the RPM lights I've seen are big and bulky. I can understand how those are set up, pretty much same as a tachometer. I just want a LED to come on in the dashboard at a certain RPM.
Any ideas?
Exactly. How many times has this been covered before and I have even posted the draw of the LEDlights after I did my research. The world famous headlight relay is dead unless you just want to run the old school lights.
Last week I bought the same 1157 in white, I'm happy. They offer the bulbs in two light outputs, now I have to go look to see which I bought. I definitely want the bright version in a 1156 for BU lights, and then I have to track down amber? version of any output for front TS.
I agree, they seem...
Thanks charger, got it all apart and was no biggy.. glad i did, it all needs a good cleaning.. those plastic push buttons/stalks look fragile.. gonna order all new bulbs, trying to decide on led or normal.. i kinda like how soft the normal lights are
ok.. cool my reverse and first buttons are working as intended then :) I did all new bulbs also.... I'm planning on LEDs for the tail-lights and front turn signal/running lights, LED's in the dash are just too bright
When I put the LED light in my 64 I could not get one tail light to work
The original 1157 always worked.. t had to clean and sand the socket to make it work. I think LEDlights need a very good ground.
