I buy drivers. I got my wagon in '92, for $500. Just a "used car" back then. I've probably put close to 100k miles on that car by now.
Got my Charger in '20, unrestored "survivor" that ran and drove. Less than $35k. Got it home, spent a looong time buffing and wet sanding and polishing...
Umm yeah never say anything is absolute. Here are a pair I found in a minute on Amazon.
AMAZENAR 2-Pack 1157 BAY15D 7528 2057 2357 Extremely Bright 300Lum White 6500K LED Light,Non-Polarity 10-30V-DC 5050 18 SMD Replacement Bulb For Brake Light Tail Lamps Back Up Reverse Lights...
Click on the "Search" window top right, enter "1968 Charger Tail light assemblies"
They have been for sale here since 2018. I planned on using them in my car but then opted for New ones with LEDlights.
So has anybody converted/modified their rear lighting on a 62 Dart 330/440?
Might not apply to Polara 500's since they have separate BU lights elsewhere.
I want to have only two rear lower light locations, that meet all the road requirements. Grote makes an LED single 4 in 1 assembly that does...
I'm not a fan of led headlights. Looks too artificial for our cars. Where I do like ledlights are interior courtesy lights, dome lights, console lights. They make an led that has the same color as incandescent plus they do not get hot. I use to burn my leg on the console light...not any more...
That's not bad. Our second meter is $20 and so far with the mini split, lights, power tools and the well pump we are around $30-$35 per bill. And we share the well pump.
...to deal with .

The long and short of the article is that European cars are allowed to utilize the technology to make the most use of the Ledlights without blinding oncomimg traffic . Now isn't that what we all...
I am just going on my experience with them. The bases are really solid and super bright.
You have Super Bright which are usually well made.
Just took pictures of my car with lights and brakes on. My license plate light is also LED
Hi folks. My first project in my 68, was to ditch all the Led mini bulbs that dont work. Also have no blinkers. After replacing all bulbs and replacing flasher . I now have lights, brake lights , running lights front, sides, and back, but only rear turn signals front turn signals don’t work on...
...to come on with park lights now, since I have DRLs in the headlights. No more glare, no more flashing. Win-win. I'll pop one of the old LEDlights into one of my motorcycles. Visibility on the bike is a good thing and I rarely have that one out after dark anyway.
And I painted the headlight...
Makes sense! My car had led bulbs in taillights and turn signals when I got it but it was flaky. Everything worked after I put in a new led flasher and grounded the flasher. I had to switch flasher polarity as well.
It's not the color, it's not the wattage, It's very poor optics and/or lack of beam control, and may be poor aiming. But if the Leds are just high-powered flood lights, aiming is academic. I have LED headlights (Grote), they are great in everyway except cost, they have a very defined beam...
I am not sure anybody has contested your first claim above. Your other claims here do not warrant a response.
What you and a few others here seem to be overlooking, LED's of any color temp and wattage, with the correct optics and aiming, cause no problems for drivers of any age.
What is so...
There’s a standard monthly charge for the separate meter.
Around $15-$20/month IIRC.
Cost of electric usage is above and beyond that.
I have (18) LED shop lights which are the majority of power consumption when I’m working in there.
Realistically I spend about 6-8 hours week in there on...
I think you are missing the main point.
"Optics" directs where the intensity is aimed.
if it is not aimed, any intensity can be blinding.
If it is not aimed in oncoming drivers eyes, the intensity has no negatives.
An LED by itself effectively has few focusing aspects. Lens design and or...
I also did the LED Dash Light Upgrade, what a huge difference !!
It was a frustrating task, but I took my time with a few beers, figured it out and it was well worth it.
Perfect dash lights now.
Got the bulbs from Amazon, pretty cheap upgrade.
I switched the flasher module to an LED compatible...
...as those fans won’t be enough to cool the condenser also at idle and that would be the only time you’d have to run it. Change to LEDlights or the relay upgrade on the Halogens. Of course ammeter delete is a must. I have more electrical accessories than you and I’m using a 160/100 amp at...
