That was my thoughts that it should be a little below the screen which puts it pretty much close to the top of the tie rod tube like Doug stated. This pan does not have the kick out for extra capacity like Doug’s has.

This pan also has the windage screen that bolts in just did not have installed for photo.

Are you saying you do not run a dipstick on your Hemi car because you have a vacuum pump? Educate me as I am leaning towards installing vacuum pump this winter. Race car only is what this is for.

It does not have provisions for dip stick.

That is what my plan is, just did not know how far below crank the level should be.

New to using an oil pan without provisions for dip stick. At what point on the inside of this oil pan is oil level full. Thanks in advanced, Larry

Spoke with Steve at Bullet Cams (guess he worked for comp for years back in the day) this afternoon. He confirmed it is a comp and determined it rather quickly plus was able to give me all the info on cam. Older grind and the tech dept at comp are uneducated on older numbers and they guaranteed...

This was my thoughts as well. Called Comp yesterday, on hold waiting for next available tech for 70 minutes then the music stopped and recording came across that we are now closed and call back during working hours. Needless to say I was not impressed. Thank you jimbosride

This is what worked great on cal-trac start up for me. @ race weight and you or someone same weight in drivers seat and car on ground. Right side (passenger) adjust bar to no end play. Left side (drivers) adjust bar to no end play. Now you have the bars set and ready to have pre load put on...

The only issue with studs is you have to have so much clearance to radiator if water pump housing needs to come off in engine bay for any reason without removing radiator.

I like the super performance gaskets a lot better than felpro gaskets.
