Hello everyone, my buddy bought a set of new Hemi P4532642 pistons at the WPC swap meet last Sunday.
He is looking for the specs on the this set of pistons for a 472 build using a 1.15 stroke.
What he is asking for is the rod length to complete the recipe.
If anyone has an older Mopar...
I don't think you can beat the reliability of a solid chunk of steel, solid lifters. I grew up with HP 273s and solids were standard. I have engines with a lot of miles on them, but OEM rollers seem to do the same with the same good care. I don't run the the lift you do or the spring...
Not interested in reproduction. I'm looking for a complete 5 piece set that is in good to excellent condition. Radio piece would be for AM...no 8 track.

In agreement with @RR Fan Dan.
Fix the root of the problem. Anything
else is just a bandaid.
@Kern Dog could offer some
insight. He's probably seen more
of this than he cares to admit.
The argument for moving forward with a roller cam is that with it, you get a radically lowered risk of failures.
I am not living by the skin of my teeth here, I can scrape together the money to do it, it just stings a bit because I haven't personally felt the benefits to justify the costs.
Plenty of old houses here in my little historic area of Virginia. Way older than 1952. We jack them all the time to fix unlevel and sagging floors, including mine. It’s a common practice.
I don’t have an experience with the self leveling stuff. Adding more weight to the floor is just...
