I am pretty sure that carb set up uses the inboard set of mounting holes. Holley spacer [ & some carter/Edel ] would not fit unless they have the dual pattern mounting holes. Another possibility is TQ or Quadrajet spacer, which is the same bolt pattern as the inboard bolt pattern on the AFBs...

Maybe I'll have to check it out. Brooklyn Center is not what you'd call a nice place to visit though. Honestly surprised with all the crime they didn't move to Anoka or something.

Very often, hand pressure will NOT collapse a pumped up lifter. You have to put the lifter in a vise with a bolt or similar in the prod cup & slowly close the vise. Slowly, because you do not want to bulge the lifter body.
