It would never work around my house. You couldn't see the lines on the side of the road this morning (much less the road in places). And I don't think GPS is accurate enough to keep the car on the road within the required distances. (Perhaps I'm wrong there.) We have dirt roads in places etc...

Even here in IL gas prices at some stations are cheapest I’ve seen in years. Shocking disparity though, I’ve seen everything from $2.77 to $3.69 for regular at various area stations. Figures, I’m not doing much driving now! I drove my Scat Pack for the last time in 2025 the day after...

I have seen a "mechanism" for sale that you push it once and it beeps it twice, maybe at year one ???

Just announced last month- Central FL (Auburndale) will be getting a test facility. GREAT. Remind me to steer clear of there.

I see about $2.65- 2.70... ( MUCH LOWER THAN A FEW YEARS AGO ). By the way, based on inflation, the adjusted cost for gasoline compared to the late 60's/early 70's is way over $3/gal.

Stupid question: If one of these contraptions is pulled over for a bonafide traffic infraction, who gets the ticket? The CEO of the company that produced it, some software engineer, accounts payable, or the people in the back seat? Which begs another question: If a driver's license is required...
