We’ve been in a cold spell this whole month, although not as our friends in the Great White North. It’s 17 this morning and the past two days had 40+ mph winds. Looks like the cold spell will be broken by Monday as they are talking about temps in the low 40s.
I didn't jerk or squeeze anything. The column was all together & I was turning the key switch & the fuel pump was working, then a fuse blew, an then nothing. Checked the switch with a continuity tester & I found that the hot wire was grounding to the column. So, apart it came.
I was making some good electrical wiring progress today and checking polarity with the steering column just sitting on the floor when the the ignition switch fell apart. :BangHead:
Got a new one on order now.
So after reading all that, do I assume that it’s 30 amp?
