It’s been cold here since the car was delivered. Yesterday changed the black coffee oil for new 10/40. I had purposefully not ran it much until having fresh oil. But today ran it altogether about an hour - flushing coolant. The psi settled at 45 which feels a lot better range.

Came with a SunPro gauge that’s reading about 75 lbs at normal idle. Soon going to replace it so I have more confidence what I’ve got. Mechanical was the way I intended. Thanks for the reinforcement.

Yeah, not knowing any better I wondered if that might be a factor also. But, if the xtra capacity is simply deeper from stock wouldn’t the stick still read from the same as stock pan level. Full is full, just more volume to get get the same full level?

Service manual is 5 qts incl filter. I took between and 7-8 QTs out and was reading at the fill line (maybe another qt to be full)? =8-9?
Does the pan look aftermarket higher capacity?

Used Lacquer thinner and a plastic scraper. Looks 100% better. It’s hard to pick up in the photos but I left some red patina on the handle across the middle.
Thanks. Good idea. Yeah I have a similar DECAL WORKS plastic applicator. I haven’t tried yet but believe will have to soften the paint before scraping off.
