    I'm just curious. I was looking on Hamtramk Historical site at the paint codes for 1974. Red is E5 and black is X9 but on fender tags they're listed as FE5 and TX9. Why the difference?

    What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

    This past weekend we had a cottage rented near Huntsville, ON. At nearby Arrowhead Probincial Park there is a 3/4 mile skate trail that is lit by tiki torches. The 3/4 moon created shadows on the ice from the tree branches. It was very, very cool.

    I guess they’re not too critical. I’ve had the car five years and the bumper hasn’t fallen off, lol. And yet part of me thinks that they would help to carry the bumper and take a little stress off the other mounting points. Thanks gentlemen.

    On my 68 Charger why is there a bumper bolt on each end that doesn’t bolt to anything? It just goes through the bumper, that’s it.

    We’re replacing wiper linkage bushings on a 74 Charger. We have the linkage in place between the two wiper pivots. But did we do it right? Or should that connecting linkage be on the top, circled in white, on the driver’s side. Said another way does the linkage coming from the wiper motor go on...

    I'm thinking of buying an engine compression tester. Which one? Don't need something high end, I'm not an engine builder. Also, can you get these in combination with a leak down tester?

    WTB Door Latch for '73 Charger

    If your door sags that is why the post and latch is worn. When you close the door it has to ride up over the post to latch closed. New hinges should solve that once the door is properly aligned. Start there. It might be all you need.

    Ok, we tried to do it by placing a couple large washers over bushing and squeezing it in with the vice. That crushed the widest point going through the hole and basically destroyed the bushing. Then I watched a YouTube video where the guy placed the inserted bushing over a socket and hit it...
