Wow! Dodge Daytona sold on Mecum

If they had that kind of money to spend I think they could afford to drive it if they wanted .

    Old people.

My wife and I both have long term insurance. Not cheap but won’t be a burden on our kids. I hope I go fast but you never know. Trying to make their burden a bit less.

    How does your mopar hibernate?

I think it’s a matter of opinion. I’ve been storing mine by starting it up backing out of garage blowing it out a bit. I’ve been doing it 10 years and no problem with exhaust so far. Worst case I think i would rather deal with an exhaust Issue than not start it for 4 months and have it just sit...

    How does your mopar hibernate?

Keep the garage about 60 degrees, Sta-Bil in fuel and run it every week or two.

    Durango experience?

Got T-Boned in my wife’s 2018 Durango R/T . The guy ran a red light in a van and got us . Walked away with no injuries. Durango was totaled but never had any issues with it before the accident. Plenty of power and room for the grandkids. Replaced it with a 2023 R/T . She loves it.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I drive mine as much as my schedule allows. I was with my dad when he bought this car in 1971 and don’t care what it is worth. Every time i see it in my garage or when i drive it I think of him.I only do local shows that benefit FD, PD or military. Never been to Carlisle and have no intentions...

Finding the history on your vehicle, what did you do?

I was there when my dad bought it off the original owner in 1971. The guy owned a gas station and was getting a divorce. My dad got it for a third of original cost because the guy didn’t want his future ex wife to have it . Been in my dad’s driveway or my garage since.

Where did you and your car go today

I give the guy with the Hemi Charger a lot of credit, don't think I have enough guts to run mine that hard.
