383 Rebuild - New Piston Suggestions

I had hoped the KB162 was similar to the originals, as the manufacturer advertised. But they aren't. However, I do have these lower compression pistons in another 69 383,9(Possibly,2008) and it runs very well. not the quickest, but after 20 years it still runs great. I can say an original 383...

That is Less then I hoped, but it is what it is.The stock hp was 10:0,and 2bbbl was 9:2. at least the car is a four speed. I also have a redone set of the original 906 heads, as a spare set, but I thought that would lower the expected CR? I haven't Installed the heads yet, so I can go either...

    Cost to rechrome a bumper

my experience in my area price and time wise depended on where the bumper was sent to be done. Many shops say they do them, but just pack them and ship in mass to a state where there are more chrome facilities.they then just mark them up and charge accordingly. It has been a while, but I made a...

My 77 Cordoba had the heavy duty suspension and tow package. But the rims were 6.5 rims, not 7. 6 was standard. My car specified either G78 orG70 15 tires, they were steel wheels with wires though, not Rally or sport wheels. They could be different.

Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

In september 1959 Soviet president Kruschev toured in Iowa observing farming techniques, and stopped in Coon Rapids while visiting the Garst farm. The cars however were short of fuel, and the secret service attempted to buy fuel at the one gas station in town. But the owner, Indignant, said...
