For Sale: Not Mine Low mile Cordoba on BaT sells for 20K

There was a reserve on that car. No reserve auctions on BaT are identified as such in the title. Most of the time the reserve is unknown unless the seller announces that it has been met, or is off, as bidding increases.

For Sale: Not Mine Low mile Cordoba on BaT sells for 20K

I missed a charcoal gray with black inserts 400 Charger Daytona last year. Black leather interior. I drug my feet on that one, the Daytona with the inserts in the shape of the Magnum's body lines was a sharp looking car.

    local old timer

My Parents moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 1979 when my father retired. It's where they kept their big old wooden boat. Somewhere in the early to mid-2 thousands his friends were dieing off. Somebody asked what he was going to do, he said "Make new ones"!

70 Coronet bench seat for 69 Roadrunner

I'm pretty sure the seat bracket pattern changed in 70. The 66-67 seats also have a different pattern. And the 4 door brackets are taller than 2 door brackets. All of the brackets will fit any of the seats though. All of the low back folding 2 door frames are the same physical size so you...

    Car bubble.

My father-in-law used them for two of his Corvettes that were in a barn. From what I saw, the car capsules work really well, and keep the cars really nice. The down side is that once filled with air, they take up a lot of space.

is it a problem this front transmission cover is missing??

Watching a trans temp gauge I have sprayed the pan and converter and nothing gives an immediate dip in temperature like hitting the top of the case. The aluminum just sucks all the heat out way faster in my experience. It is much more difficult to access in a car, maybe a hole in the floor...

    Drum Brakes Grabbing - SOLVED!

You have the newer version brake shoes. That oblong hole is for the park brake lever that goes in the hole and rotates 1/4 turn to secure it. I had a 78 Fury with these type shoes and levers. Real quick to change shoes on these type. The early 70's and back have all round holes in the shoes...

When assembling a big block, how crucial is THIS ?

All BB's us a cup plug as far as I have seen. I use Loc-Tite 540 (PN#54041) to seal it. This is some great stuff, albeit quite expensive. SB's use either a flat plug or the formed plug (EPC203). Early Hemi's and Flat Head 6 cyls plugs are flat plugs. The plug you show in your pic was...
