Has nothing to do with it.
My family (dads parents) came here in the 20s for a better life. Worked hard. Banned German in their house. Spoke English. Cooked American food. Adopted American habits and hobbies and fashion. Raised a son who retired from the Navy as a commander. Raised a son who...
I wear my heated jacket if I'm on the motorcycle for a long time and it's in the 60s. Gotta keep the core warm.
Same for no top/no doors on the wrangler - 60s and sunny? No top, but keep the doors and windows. 70s and up? Lose em all.
I love metal grates under a motorcycle. Just let it "walk", it'll come back. And the view through the decking can't be beat! I crossed Big Mac years ago and spent most time looking at the boats on the water underneath! My (now ex-) wife was beating on my shoulders and trying to get me to move to...
Another Wrangler day.

Since last Monday, I put 2400 miles on this
2001 cummins 24v, 6 speed stick. Started with ~284k miles. Towed the empty 24' trailer from MD to FL, commuted 2h each way from st Augustine to Ocala and back for 3 days loading Michelle's recently-passed brothers effects, installed a new entry...
I put seafoam in my snowblower, and my mowers. First pull of the season, they all fire right up. Same for the motorcycles (carb, and efi). And the Charger.
Seafoam rocks.
2002, release of the Buell XB lineup. Daytona bike week test drives. Erik (Buell) tells all of us "no passing the lead rider". We get back, Erik asks how it went. "You told us not to pass the lead rider...half the time, we couldn't even SEE the lead rider!!" Erik just grinned...."yea, we have...
They're cheap.
Take your belt off and run it through it's range, if it has a sticky point or if the pulley is crunchy, toss one on.
I replace it every time I replace a belt.
