Most of the older mopars are the same as GM because they used Saginaw - the only thing to do is measure & count the splines ( check if any where on the splines is a heavy spot, like a keyway ) , make sure what your specs are
So you're saying that the new dropped link is a 1/2 inch too long and that your tie rod adjusting sleeves may bottom out on the adjustments? Just asking to make sure I /we understand.
