I’ve read through this thread and have seen some different springs. The issue that I’ve been having is when brakes were applied, the right front would grab for a second before the left. I put brakes on from my parts car many years ago and put them on the way they came off. Anyway, the right...
After going back and looking at stuff instead of going off memory I have to correct myself: Govier issues documents saying his list has 559 Charger 500's... so even more than 548. CRS is kicking in.

The 69 Charger 500 was still able to compete in Nascar racing when the 1971 letter saying 548 units were produced was written. There is no way while the car could still be raced in competition that Chrysler was going to admit anything less than 500 units being built. The latter letter stating...
Idles in mid 13 range cruises high13 to low 14. Give it the beans and it is in the low 12's as rpm climbs, then high 11's.
Plugs are clean. Timing color change is still above the center electrode. Running the fbo box and their coil. Stock pistons. Ring gaps are at the high end for boosted...

I'm guessing that fore/aft movement of the cam has to be limited to keep the lifter wheels in proper contact.
I've never checked to see how close the timing chain is to the back side of the timing cover. The cover always slipped in place and I...
Those 2 vacant spots in the top bulkhead connector are empty on the firewall side
That little black wire just goes to ground, after researching this I agree it's an auto relay, seems like the 4 speed ones are not as easy to come by and the grounding jumper is a common move.
The car is a...
