1967 Plymouth GTX convertible dash to windshield fitment

Looks really nice. But I have to disagree, that dash is not complete at all. Finish it on the bench first. Everything. Then pop it in and you're done.

1967 Plymouth GTX convertible dash to windshield fitment

Ok so the rubber seal hides quite a bit...good to know. To answer a couple questions: I learned a long time ago to test fit trim before final installation. Thats why you see it in place. And the dash is as complete of a unit as possible. Only thing missing on the top side is the dash pad...

Freiburger fixes up a 72 Road Runner - YouTube

I think it’s more that he glamorized or made the ratty thing more acceptable to many. Before he had the cheap thrills series I was already driving VWs in similar condition, I was glad to see the article because I was sick of people asking when I would make my cars look nice and hoped it signaled...

How do you remove the axle end play adjuster on an 8 3/4" axle shaft?

If you're scrapping the axle, cutting the bearing in half would be 10x quicker than chopsawing the axle. I've chop sawwed an axle . NO FUN!

    Restored or driver?

Driver for me. Last two cars (late model Challengers) I had with perfect or close to perfect paint had one unfortunate incident after another and I obsessed over it. The type of car figures in to what I want, but a ratty primered old mopar looks good to me. Think Roadkill without the ridiculous...

How do you remove the axle end play adjuster on an 8 3/4" axle shaft?

If you only want the adjusters & your gonna scrap the axle use a chop axle & cut the axle past the bearing so the adjuster can slip off....

    8 3/4 Axle Oops?

The adjuster is required on the tapered bearings. Not used on ball bearings. Now is the time to knock out the LH studs if you have them

    8 3/4 Axle Oops?

Green bearings need no adjuster, or the spacer in the chunk.
