Here’s 4 that I’d like in my garage.
66 HEMI/727 Satty, original owner, matching numbers engine, 36,000 miles, restored. The gal who owns it street raced it back in the day. Manual steering ;) Owns 3 other HEMI cars, but she brought this one to town:

Damn, another company folding due to COVID/supply chain problems. Here’s their website announcement: Scarebird closing
Due to latent supply constraints from Covid-19, we have decided to shut down operation effective end of 2022. Items still listed are available - those not listed will not be...
Found this at a swap meet…told the dude who had it if he didn’t sell it, I’d take it for $35. He texted today so I met him for lunch and bought it. Has a Mopar vibe to it, maybe 440hp? Thoughts?
I bought these NOS hydraulic b/rb lifters a few years back. Pulled them off the shelf today, took one out of the box, pulled it out of the plastic and during inspection, I see they all have a waxy substance on the lifter face. Cosmoline? Break in lube? What do you think?
Saw this in the local CL and I was confused (lol, not that ever happens). Is the 516 any good for performance or a boat anchor?

I was looking for a basic weight on a “B” engine and came across this. The numbers after the weight appear to be dimensions. Also the list predates the Gen 3 HEMI, and I don’t see the LS, or Coyote.

I just spent a lovely 3 days in Scottsdale at the auctions. I think prices are down, fortunate for guys that want to buy, not so great if you’re 401k has 4 wheels. This crossed the block for $28k:
Were moving and I'm packing my magazine stash...like thousands of issues since I started subscribing in the late 70s..Hot Rod, PHR, Car Craft, etc; I haven't thrown a single issue away (yes, pack rat).
I had removed these 2 pages out of a 1980 PHR for reference long ago, hopefully you can zoom in:
I scored these "vintage" Crane ductile iron rockers a few years back. I'll need some shafts to go with them. I'm planning on running a dual spring with no more than .550" lift and 6,000rpm - a street engine.
What would you suggest?
I recently purchased a 3.23 SureGrip to replace the 2.93 peg leg in my '65 Coronet. In a "rookie" move, I assumed since both housings were 2070741 housings, the yokes would be the same. In fact, the u-joint straps appear to interchange. Now that the PIG is in my housing, I realize the...
I am converting my /6 '65 to a stroker "B". I've done some calculations and amazingly, if I go with aluminum heads, intake, waterpump and housing, radiator, and switch to headers, I'm showing an increase of no more than 70lbs. So I'm sticking with the /6 bars as my car is drag themed anyway...
I recently came into 2 complete center sections and 1 set of headlight buckets for a 65 Coronet. My Coronet wagon has a very cherry grill on it, but I was thinking how the car might look with the A990 single light set up. What do you think?
Abbey,
I picked up these rockers recently. I know they are not: FE Ford, Buick Nail Head, Poly 318, Hemi. The previous owner said they were B/RB, but with the stands, I thought "maybe they are max wedge". What say you?
