    Stroker engine build ideas

I’m running an Isky 292 Mega cam in my mild 440. 10.5 to 1 compression though. Rumbles at idle. 750 in gear. Strong torque. It a good mild street cam.

    Trashed rocker assembly?

Can a car be driven for break-in to keep the RPMs going? I don't think my neighbors would enjoy my car idling in the driveway at 2000 to 3,000 RPMs, for 30 minutes. Lol

What's it Worth Mystery bucket seats, I suspect from a Dart or Duster

I wouldn't take any less than $400 minimum for both seats. Especially if they have working, and complete tracks/sliders. And yes... they are '73-'76 Dart/Duster seats. Obviously the foam, and covers, would have to be replaced if someone wants them to be like new again.

Do they make 8 bolt crank flex plates for 727 big block torque converters with the 11 inch 11 1/8 size hole diameters?

If you're anywhere near a machine shop, they can machine an existing flex plate. Had this done on a Jeep. Turbo 400 trans w/a B&M torque converter using a stock Jeep flex plate. Been on there for 30 years. Cheap, too....

Interesting story about To Live And Die In L.A.

In Live And Die there's a crazy car chase. Some full size cars really take a beating. Did you know Hickman was one of the last people to see James Dean alive? They were gassing up together before the wreck.

ok thanks, I guess I'll put up an ad here and on CL. I wouldn't want to deal with shipping so it would have to be a local.

Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

Early Toyota's came with a trouble light that plugged into the outlet in the glove box. I also heard they had an electric razor but could never verify it.

    How Long Would You Wait?

They make duct tape in many colors now. No need to paint over it anymore.

    Stroker engine build ideas

Thanks! I have been thinking/dreaming about the build for years. Sounds like your car is a perfect candidate for a similar setup with the 9 1/4 rear. This post is definitely helping me gather my thoughts so I know more of what I want when I call Howards.

    Stroker engine build ideas

Thanks purple beeper, yes that cam seems very comparable to what I am thinking. Maybe even a little better with the tighter LSA. From what I have researched the standard performer manifold should work with the ramcharger box. Good point about the carb throat diameter though. I may wait awhile to...
