    I didn't wire up the remote starter button; just wired everything to the ignition switch. I've been thinking about it since I came in at 4:00, and I think I've now got the wiring issue figured out in my head. I'll wire in the starter button & put it to the test tomorrow.

    The oem nut that retains the stud is deeper than the one you are using. When used in conjunction with the clip and washer it removes excess lateral movement of the kickdown arm.

    That might have been a previous owners way of bypassing the seatbelt-starter interlock system if it became troublesome.

    I don't see any stores in my state, there are some private delivery services that list Harbor Freight after an internet search.

    The factory sunroof made up for it! The original 69 Daytona prototype didn't have the window plug either. The second known 70 Daytona,also had no window plug.
