These pinched holes where only on early build 1407/1411 Edelbrock 750 ? They have since fixed the issue ? Bet they made a lot of money on jets and metering rod kits back in the day , me included - Man I hated these carbs compared to other Edelbrock

Next test, instead of jumping the bat to starter terminals on the solenoid, pull the yellow wire off the solenoid and jump Bat to the lug the yellow wire was on..

I have an air cleaner that was used on 68 and 69 HP 340, 383 and 440's. I don't have the pie tin but it does have a new air filter. I would like $250 for it and I will ship it free to the lower 48 states.
What springs did you use? I used SS springs on my dart and they settled about 1/2 inch, and ESPO 1 inch over on my Barracuda and they also settled 1/2 inch. Took about a year.
