Started my car just fine, next day turned the key and it just clicked, checked battery connection, that was fine still clicked so I jumped across the relay and it started, could it be the starter relay off the firewall? If so is there a way to test it to be sure it’s that? Thanks in advance

Yes it is. Thats why many race valve bodies don't have low band apply. The 1/2 shift is seemless. It's either in 1st or in 2nd. There can't be any overlap like during the 2/3 shift. Doug

How does the fender fit when you test fit it to the body?

I might have tried that too if it had been around in 2015 when I built mine. I have the factory A/C box which allows no room for anything other than the factory pedal. However, I like the factory pedal with the bell crank assembly under the hood. That pedal is butt ugly IMO but you gotta do what...
