    New from Oz

Hey there. New member here from Perth in Western Australia. I built my first Charger, a 69 318 base model back in 2006. Dropped in a 383, had it painted, did all the other bits like new interior, wheels etc and kept it until I picked up a 1970 RT SE with its #440 about 3 years ago. I've spent...

Less BS about changing tire alignment specs from stock (a.k.a. let's rant about Mopar suspension some more)

Thanks, that was a great read. I don't think it'll help with slop or self-centering, but it should have an effect on the overboosting. Will try it when I get a chance and report back. -Kurt

WTB '68 Belvedere/Coronet RH upper rear quarter gutter AND a bit of the quarter

I know the gutter is reproduced for these, but if anyone - by chance - is chopping up a more-door with an intact RH gutter and a bit of the quarter panel, that'd make this repair a bit easier with less seams and HAZs to worry about. Pic of the ugly for reference (yes, it's a mess - convenient...

How to identify B-Body (or E-Body) firewall mounting plates | 1962-1974 | manual vs. power

You're the first to have reported success - let us know when you can get to the car and snap a picture. That's definitely worth documenting. -Kurt

    70 Satellite LS Swap

Don’t care so much you started a thread to tell the strangers about it. Putting that aside, it doesn’t bother me. If I had the parts laying around and needed a motor I would do it too, hell there were times when I had my LandCruiser that I had unpure thoughts of a Toyota V8 in my...

    Loose Steering

They used to be good, until the son took over then the company went to ****. Besides, it’ll cost a lot to ship your core and ship it back to you. This “Bergman auto craft has an adaptor so you don't have to cut the column.”

    70 satellite wheelbase 2 vs 4 door

I don't think so, that would be a difference in the unibody but honestly, I've never noticed or thought to look..... edit: they look the same in these pics

My rear end has a heartbeat

Today we put the car on stands but couldn't duplicate the sound. Driveshaft and wheel bearings had no play. Three wheels had wheel nuts with 3/4 hex with one of rears wearing 13/16 hex all 4 wheels 60 degrees

Snohomish is a pretty safe adventure. Driving over from the sane side of the state, will allow you to skirt any really bad areas. Its a small venue, and all brands, so parking is tight.
