    Classic car prices !

Chevelle boys and Ford guys are going to watch their rides go to the entry level price range, because no matter how rare they claim it to be they made hundreds of thousands of those things back then. Younger GM boys like Camaros and G body cars. Younger Ferd owners want a modern Mustang and...

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Clean it up. Put in a left taillight. Check all electricals from the bulkhead out to all systems. Check brake system from MC out & flush/bleed new brake fluid. Check steering & suspension from steering wheel out to the wheels. Replace with new tires. Safety is the key. Change oil, fluids, and...

Who has replaced a power steering box in a Hemi car with stock manifolds???

Well, after the holidays, a vacation, Covid and the addition of a partial brake system overhaul due to a leaking master cylinder on my 66 Hemi, the power steering conversion is essentially complete. What a difference verses muscling this thing into my garage with a 3-pt, 90 degree turn. Only...

Do you remember this Halloween mask from the sixties?

That mask looks like a Texas caveman.

    Classic car prices !

I have not bought any of my cars in anticipation of making money on them. I buy them for the nostalgia and memories that they revive. Sure most have appreciated in value, but there are also costs involved in improvements and maintenance. They provide fun for me, by driving and maintaining them...

    AC or No AC

My old tired ride does not seem to have cooling side affects. Just like the clutch-cycling. That minor bump is in no way negative to the idle of a torquey 440. AC is a must. Classic Auto Air.

WTB WTB Front Bench Seat (with headrests) for a 1969 coronet

Looking for a front bench seat for my 69 Coronet. Really just need the frame but if it’s already covered, that is fine. Would love to have one with headrests similar to picture. Thank you. Bonus if it has a fold down armrest similar to second picture.

Can’t raise the parking lever on my push button transmission. 1963 Dodge Dart GT

It was rough raising it and lowering it for the past few days. Now it finally won’t move at all so I can’t shift it into reverse or drive. Hits a very firm stop right where I have it in the photo. Any ideas what it could be? It used to be buttery smooth before this. Got her looking real good...

How risky is removing and reinstalling a cam bearing if oil hole isn’t aligned?

No way I’d tapping the block and trusting a 10-32 machine screw to not backout and ruin my engine. I think loctite bearing and sleeve retainer would be more appropriate.

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Wow. That is great story. A free Hemi RR. Dang! That, my friend, is a true barn find. Congrats and enjoy building the way you want it.

1969 Dodge Super Bee Barn Find - Unbelievable

Fountain ave was the best, it is completely developed now with housing and a shopping mall. I had a 1968 R/T 440 4spd I used to run over there.

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Clean it up first, interior too, then post some pictures. Sometimes old/original is great if you get it running to do righteous burnouts. Depends on how it turns out once the grime is taken away. Don't use armor all in the interior to make it shiny either. Use some regular cleaner, like Griot's...

HELP - Brakes won't bleed AT ALL!

Glad you have some success. I’m wondering if the rear flex line was clogged why you didn’t get brake fluid coming out the front cylinder bleeder screws? Unless the bleeder holes were clogged. I agree change all the lines anyway if you haven’t. It’s cheap investment compared to others. Take...

    Heater Core Purchase

Another vouch for Glen Ray. One advantage is you can be sure the nipples will be long enough to reach through the firewall unlike some of the replacements. Unless you don’t have 3 or 4 weeks for turn around I wouldn’t go any other way.
