Hey, so right rear signals work, right rear hazards work, I unplugged the tail light harness and it does the same thing. So issue may be in the dash I imagine just not sure where to start
Been working on my 70 RR and cleaned up the dash and got new bulbs in everywhere, headlight switch is new and all lights come on as supposed to,
Brake lights do not work when lights on/pedal pressed
Lights off/pedal pushed all park lights turn on
Gotta be a wire crossed possibly or bad...
This is the where the trunk seal would be. What is the correct way to fix these spots. The quarter panel is solid minus these areas. The bottom of rear window is also solid. Is the trunk rail area part of the new quarters? I don’t want to replace the entire quarters as they are 99% good.
Oh for sure, I can do the pulling lol I just didn’t want to haha. But that is probably the best option. It’s a project so that’ll just make it more fun. Thanks
I didn't even think of that, its sat for more than 10 years as far as I know. how about would I potentially try to free them? pb blaster from underneath?
Ok. On my 70 RR
The 440 has been taken apart
Heads
Timing cover
Starter
Distributor
Fuel pump
Oil pan( everything looks normal)
Camshaft spins with wrench
Crank spins about 1/16th to 1/8th of a turn and stops.
What the heck is wrong with this block. It’s an 66 block on an 727(not sure on year)...
1- yea I do have a strap from the block to firewall.
2- the starter does crank with key but in any gear
3- I cleaned up behind it so I would say yes
4- I did clean them all and had to add new terminals on some wiring.
5- I believe this is either not screwed in all the way or something is wrong...
thanks for the response. I was just trying to I guess check to see what does and doesn't work on the entire car, with the key in the on position, would nothing work if the NSS was bad? I probed the headlight switch connector(do not have the actual switch) and was getting full voltage as well as...
Ok, I have a 1970 RR with a 440 in it(issues with motor) not relevant to this post.
Anyways I got a new bulkhead connector and female plugs and got everything wired back together. This is a new project car to me(non running for atleast 15years.)
When I first turned key to on the alternator...
