    LemonWedge 727 build

Thought I had run into a snag when I air-checked the assembly and thought I was getting a leak. I had been told that an exhaust hole drilled in the front drum would essentially be a leak. But I just wasn’t willing to trust it. Pulled it all back apart and air-checked it again with just the...

Word of caution with tumble dryers..... be careful with clothing that has pull-cord clasps on the ends of the cords.....they get caught up in the rubber seal and eventually tear off or grind away at the drum inside. I cleaned mine out last year.....not bad considering the amount of use it...

It pays to clean out the filter at the bottom of a top loader machine on a regular basis....remove the agitator, then the filter is exposed.

66 Satellite - Does this wiring harness look familiar?

Well, I hope you don’t find what I did. The PO who installed the C-pillar chrome trim managed to tighten one of the sheet metal speed nuts in the pillar down on the wire harness and grounded it out. So he just unplugged them. Think that didn’t take some searching to find and correct?

Can a High Volume oil pump suck the floor up?

This is what I was thinking, but now that I have my first trap door pan, I don't know how the oil around the pick up may act under hard acceleration. The car carries the wheels up about a whole foot, and then comes down quick, so oil is not always out back. I mean, with a regular deep sump 7 Qt...

Can a High Volume oil pump suck the floor up?

I would not worry about it. With a 7 qt. pan, you have at least 2 extra qts. of oil in there, so the pickup should always be in oil.

Can a High Volume oil pump suck the floor up?

Duly noted. 1/4" to 3/8" off the floor I will have it set for sure. I'll just have to weld a 1/4" section of tube to the existing pick up tube because as it is now, by the time it tightens nicely in the block, the screened pick up box is 1/2" off the floor. Both pick ups oddly enough are short...
