This one says it must be used with a sender/driver. Yours could be different but just about anything I have seen of that style needed a module/sender/driver to make it work.
I've had an interest for awhile, I just bought this book to see what I can learn:
But what has slowed me down so far is that most of the affordable ($500-600 range) seem limited for the size of object that you can print, usually around six to eight inches square. I'd want something that would...
Yes because starting in 2nd is like starting in D. No band apply.
I had a 76 ford halfton that would actually be only in second when in second. That was great in the winter. Not sure what trans that was
If they are 10” drums they should have automatic adjusters. They can also be adjusted manually if necessary. Hard to troubleshoot on a forum. You will need to pull the drum off a wheel or two and examine them. Could be the drums are oversize, shoes are worn or glazed, lines need to be bled...
Sounds like you're praising the builder and questioning his intelligence and ability all at the same time? I'd leave it where it was, you're nit picking over 1/8 ".
Various 62 Dart clips.
The 4 on the left were in a bag labelled 'eyebrow trim' but iirc the clips with the foam on them were used for the side trim as well, or similar.

Welcome from Edmonton. My family used to vacation in Tofino/Cox Bay, we spent many summers there. That's some nice intake mods on your engine. For interest's sake, I wonder if there is a performance improvement with CAI intake tubes and collector on the carb as opposed to just an open air...
that's a very informative video from John Cope who built my 727. Thanks for sharing.
He also says at the end, if you have an automatic valve body automatic, to not do a burnout in 2nd (which manual shift valve bodies are ok to do).
A manual low burnout goes without saying with an automatic shift valve body. Higher horsepower cars with manual valve bodies, (if they have low gear band apply usually do a 2-3 burnout. That's what I get from the discussions.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Hey everyone. I have manual drums on my 67 belevedere. They brake like I'm on ice basically. I have yet to get the chance to take the wheels off and go through them.
I read they have automatic adjusters, however I looked at some photos and they seem to be the basic spindle with a stopper that...
