I got a card way back in the early 90s. We still use it but not that much. Mostly for when we go camping as it’s 2 hours away. Even for the city folks that we see buying 1 or 2 bags of potato chips I gotta wonder if driving 5 or more miles 1 way is really worth the drive.

There are mini starters with all kinds of different power outputs. I had a Mopar mini starter on a 12.5 cr 572 Hemi. It cranked it fine. But I wanted to put a new starter on it and bought a Meziere. It honestly cranked it as if the plugs were out.

Yes, find some thick standard pcb from some old electrical thingy you have laying around, grind off the metal tracks, drill holes for the gauge and you are set with something way stronger than original.

I once saw a formation of sixteen F-104 aircraft flying at 2,000 feet in a diamond formation under the cloud deck in Taichung, Taiwan. I like that kind of noise!
