I've never seen power steering identified on a fender tag. Only on the Broadcast Sheet.

Yeah I do agree that it was built very late, but it was a special order so they probably just used left over parts to build it, what's interesting is that the car currently has power steering yet it isn't listed at all, i wonder if it was added later on

Honestly in the next couple of years I will begin replacing worn out stuff like the springs and old bushings in the front, right now it isn't too bad to drive but could become a problem with time on the road

Google it is like saying to someone don’t ask me for help. I would have helped if I had the knowledge but I don’t. I’ve seen plenty of tags decoded on here when someone asks for help. I’ve even had one decoded here I was interested in buying. Thanks @DeltaV for stepping up.

Some of them I know off the top of my head.......H51 is air conditioning, U is USA spec, 28 is 28" radiator, P31 is power windows, and L31 is fender mounted turn signals. M21 and M26 will be fender and body moldings, V1W is a white viny top. The V5X will be a black body molding of some kind...

    Stamped lifter clearance

Rebuilding a stock 68 383 motor. I bought a new stamped rocker arm package from 440 Source. At first the rockers were too hard to move. After some minor grinding on the spacers I got them to move freely but there is less than .001 clearance between them. Is that enough? Thanks
