Dude, It’s basic chemistry equation. Math doesn’t lie. You can use that equation to figure any of the variables. If he put 5 gallons of 110 and 15 gallons of 93 the result would be 97.25 octane.
I'm figuring I'm about 5 years from retirement. I've already gotten more and more into cooking in recent years - which is very therapeutic and enjoyable for me. I'd like to eventually get a smoker and get into that. Maybe even before I retire. I'd like to do more reading and get back into...
I had my box and Saginaw pump rebuilt by Steer and Gear about 17 years ago. I believe it is the Sport version, much better road feel, no more loosey goosey stock feel. Feels like a modern rack and pinion setup. I highly recommend it. This is in my 65 Belvedere.

First you need to calculate the percentage of each fuel that will be in the final mixture. Then, use this equation to find your octane:
( [ % Fuel A ] x [ Octane of Fuel A ] ) + ( [ % Fuel B ] x [ Octane of Fuel B ] ) = Octane of Mixture
So mix 10 gallons of 110 with 10 gallons of 93 and you...

I'm sure there will be guys here who hate the big new wheels, but in my opinion they are a huge improvement over the wide whites and wheel covers.
They would probably not have been my choice.
If your car is tuned right, put the mix of your choice in the tank, then go for a ride. Stick your foot in it and if it doesn't detonate, you are good on octane. It's not rocket science.
