    I hate plumbing

You should see all the copper for our new boiler install years ago. It's a 4 zone system and it's all copper. I should be down polishing it right now.

My new to me 64 Polara

I have been buying parts like a crazy man the last week or so. The repop parts are mostly imported. The $300 headlight bezels I just bought might cost $450 in a few weeks. Most of the suppliers are out of them now so I pulled the trigger. Get them now or pay more later.

1965 Belvedere II 318 poly tuning

Here's how I feel about tuning a street cruiser. Not too much is needed. As long as it starts well, runs smooth, doesn't ping, and doesn't hesitate, you are good. A race engine is different. You are trying to get the last few horses out of it, although that isn't really necessary if you are ET...

1965 Belvedere II 318 poly tuning

My 64 Poly has the stock cam and 2 barrel and starts and runs fine at 10° before. I can imagine with a little cam 10-15° would be it's happy place. Remember, the more initial you have, the more total advance you get. At 3000 rpm it should be around 32° with the vacuum advance disconnected at the...

Anyone know what make this wheel is?

That should be 5 on 4 1/2" like big bolt Mopar. You said these were 5 on 4" which is small bolt circle Mopar.

Anyone know what make this wheel is?

Oh boy, Everybody made them back in the 60's and 70's. If there are no stamps on it, it could be anyone's guess.

That was on the Iverson Automotive site I had mentioned earlier. You could smooth the old one out and sand cast it in aluminum. They can be flat on the back so that is easy to mold. It would take a few tries because of the small details.

I love those old dealer emblems. Most were pot meral and pitted bad. Drill and tap for a machine screw?

My new to me 64 Polara

What the heck, it's only money! I pulled the trigger on those headlight bezels, ordered a battery hold down, a trunk key blank and a cool Ramcharger sticker. I like to trash up my cars with a single sticker in the upper center of the back glass. Something that means something to me. A...
