    Machine Shop Costs, 440 Build

I assumed buffer is just for you to know the cost of labor could go up $500 due to unforeseen issues, damaged threads, etc.

1967 GTX / Belvedere pkg tray color

The white reflects. That’s why they didn’t do white hood paint or decals. Or white dashes. I have seen a 68 barracuda with white UDF. It was a convertible with white top and boot and maroon interior and white soft trim . My white/maroon std interior barracuda coupe has maroon UDF. It may be...

    FOR SALE 1964 Polara 500 426 wedge (Fresh 491 Stroker) $9,500.00

The rust is the usual external that you get in the normal places. Floors/Trunk/Frame etc. are solid as new. Passenger Seat Bottom Booster has a tear (Two Full OEM Covers included) but rest of interior is nice as you would expect in a 40,000 mile cars. This car really needs to get it out of my...

1967 GTX / Belvedere pkg tray color

I really don't think that a white interior car would have anything but a black package tray and kick panels, regardless of upper door frame color. I've never seen a white package tray. White and black interiors are sort of special that way. Have you ever seen a 67 with white interior car with...

    I did not know that

There are still plenty of collisions, but everyone has to go so slow is why there are fewer injuries. At first I hated them because people in this country don't know how (or won't) cooperatively merge, but it does seem now that people are starting to get the hang of it.

    Muffler or Not?

I'd swap those side to side, to point the turndowns at each other. That's a suggestion a friend of mine made a few years ago, and I did it to my Cortina. I liked the sound and they kinda smoothed out the tone. I was using 3 1/2 hooker aero's. (Also blew less garbage at warm tires on the return...

    Terminal cleaning

In a pinch, I often use Soda Pop to clean the battery terminals. I have not tried it yet on firewall, but I might in an emergency.

    What's it Worth 1970 HP2 440

No vacuum advance = aftermarket... Problem with an 80's rebuild is probably 75-80% got low compression pistons... The 516 heads tend to confirm that....
