Your wife is an angel Ed. Mine gave up years ago "assisting" bleeding brakes and such. Years ago I bought a vacuum pump gizmo to bleed my own.
Now for the cursing of Ma Mopar for the week- look up replacing a heater blend door actuator on the passenger side for a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. That...
I walked up to a cigarette machine at an off-strip casino in Vegas a couple weeks ago and they were $15/pack!
For the record, I quit on 12/31/85 when the 7/11 price was up to $1.45.
Why not repair them? You will need to use a tail shaft housing with the 2 bosses for the factory bell crank for the floor shifter linkage. Easy swap if the doner doesn't have them. A lock up with the smooth portion of the input shaft is not a bolt in. Neither is a 66 with 18 spline input shaft...
I ordered a fender bolt kit for 68-69 B-bodies July 4, 2024 from Jegs. Had pretty much given up on it. Well, it showed up in the mail a few days ago. Had threatened to cancel the order but never got around to do it and the pretty much forgot that I ordered the kit. Obviously, I was not in...
Could be as well. To be honest I didn't pay attention if the spindle was a Mopar based design or Mustang II. For sure that could be the issue. You would think if they sold this stuff it wjould be somewhat close. I did a 64 Fury' for a customer with QA 1 stuff. Had to space the outer heims with...
No one in this thread is questioning the need for proper idle air flow and appropriate throttle plate position relative to the t-slot. The rest of us have moved past the obvious.
And yes, you can get a good idle AF ratio with a range of IFR sizes. The IFR is indeed chosen by the carb...
I’m sure those rotors glow red when you bring that down from 140+mph …..
Have you thought about Cryo Treatment to improve rotor performance?
Oh and do you use a Carnuba Wax on the oil pan too ?
It helps the track photogs get a glimpse of perfection in motion. !!
Beautiful Ride !!

I had a burgundy car and it looked like it had a bit of chocolate in it, in certain lighting. I liked it a lot.
I'm a man with many hats. One car has no chrome, tinted windows and always a 2 inch drop. All my cars had 17 inch chrome wheels. The Coronet has a lot of trim and I like chrome...
fire is a big concern here in my wood framed tin covered shop in san jose , so far so good , i hang out for an hour after welding anything smelling for smoke at every turn . knott on my wooden head just for more great luck , this place would burn for awhile with my magnesium rims and parts...
It's a Frank Zappa song.....iirc, it's on the Overnight Sensation album.
Edit: Yup, it's on that album and check out 'I'm the Slime' which is also on the OS album. If you don't like Zappa, you won't like any of his stuff lol
