My new to me 64 Polara

I might stick my head under the dash today and see what I need to do to pull the blower motor and cage out. Every time I turn on the fan I need to rake the leaves off the passenger floor.

Thanks, I will have to study up and see how they are trimmed. Out comes the model car paint. LOL I need to touch up some screw heads on the headlight trim anyway.

    10" Poverty Caps - 15" Wheel

A parts wanted ad may be your best bet. There has been a lot of talk lately about no one making steel wheels any more.

LOL. It is a nice piece. Nice for a driver. Is there any color on them, like a black center or just all chrome? Dang, it's late. Past my bedtime.

62 Belvedere 318 poly granny cruiser (one day i hope)

Talking about the deck lid height, do you have an old or newer seal on it? If you have an old seal things will change when you install a new one. It looks like it needs a little chiropractor adjustment. Not much though.

    Tonight's Drink of Choice is....

All were good (as Starlight usually is) My favorite was the left one. Finished in VDN barrels (a French sweet wine) the black label is just their standard Bourbon and the two on the right were both different batches of Double Oaked. Those are the two we wanted to sample side by side. They had...

Damn anodized aluminum. I am no expert but I think you need to strip off the anodizing and polish it. Or, send it in to have it redone. I have fought with the cloudiness on my 66 front end for many years now.

    Damaged Axle during bearing replacement

Just my opinion, as long as it isn't in the sealing area you should be ok with the thought that is just a street cruiser or a show type car. If it were a race car of any sort, it needs to be replaced. Any gash like that can weaken the axle if used or abused hard if you catch my drift.
