So this has me thinking,? are the lengths of the centerlink different? Saw that the after market drop link is 1/2" longer in and now it doesn't fit all applications as anticipated? Hmmmmmmmm. Again, just wondering.

I know they will bolt up with no problem. But are they exactly the same? Are the steering columns at the same angle? as i had to shim the gearbox on my 69 charger to get the angle to match the column. Or maybe bent ? Or bad fixturing at the factory? Just wondering.

I purchased all grade 8 bolts. One @ 5" and cut it down to 4.75" and three @ 3". cut down to 2.75" as my hardware store only had bolt sizes in 1/2" increments.....With lockwashers, this gets the bolts threaded into the block 5/8".

Here in central florida some circles were put in as an after thought. And are way too small so the turn is too tight so they cut the corner and large trucks wipe out the sign in the middle and many people don't use their turn signals. Other than that, I like em! When im driving my small car. LOL !

I finally got the chance and bought some longer bolts. Plus I noticed that the short bolts were grade 5 while the long bolt was a grade 8. Not a good bolt kit . Thanks everyone for your help. Sincerely, Tony.

I bought a ENCO. mill drill many years ago when they were still in business. Drove to Atlanta GA. To pick it up. Best tool purchase I ever made. Super handy. My old drill press is collecting dust. Get one if you can. You won't regret it.

I bought a used centerlink. At a swap meet for cheap, because it was bent. And I straightened it out on my cheesy hydraulic press. It wasn't at all difficult to straighten. In other words, easy!

I just found out that 440 sorce has high strength bolt kit for the m63hv pump ( pictured ) with all 4 bolts extending out of the pump equally. They have 12 point bolt kits for the HV pumps as well, but not shown installed into the pump. Not all bolt kits are created equal .

I'll look for grade 8 bolts. It just seems incorrect that the standard pump has all for bolts going into the block 5/8 " deep. And the hv bolt kit has only the long bolt going into the block 5/8" deep and the other 3 bolts go in at 5/16" I understand what you and others are saying. About having...

I pressure washed the grey plastidip coating off the magnum as it had petrified in 10 years time into a rock hard coating. And unfortunately revealed some bad rust repairs.

Hindsight is 20/20 I wish I was warned before I ordered this kit.

Sorry I don't believe only one long bolt is needed. As all 4 bolts on the standard pump are all the same length into the block. And even if it supposed to be ok with only one long bolt. I'm not doing it. Remember! the standard pumps bolts are the same length into the block.

Then these kits are not needed? And why didn't chrysler use shorter bolts from the factory? They could have saved millions buying shorter bolts for all the big blocks they produced! Maybe they should have shortened every bolt on every vehicle produced? But they didn't ! and this kit is...

I used a semi rigid translucent hose .5" diameter to drain my tank . Mine has the big tank as well. I thought it was going to be a terrible job to replace the pump. But it wasn't too difficult. Good luck.

I got the cheapest one locally for my 2000 x-cab sport 4x4 and it makes noise the gas gauge read empty with 10 gallons left in the tank. But it pumps gas! Next time I'll spend more and get a better one.
