For one, they really are the 800 lb gorilla in the aftermarket cam business. Dwayne Porter works with them and I trust his advice.
Hawk Rod has a cam of similar spec in his Road Runner, he is quite happy with it and it makes great power.

If the pump drive was moved upwards during operation, I doubt Chry would have relied on a narrow plastic collar on the dist shaft to limit upward thrust. The direction of thrust can be controlled by:
- which side of the cam [ left or rt ] the helix is
- which way the helix is ground: CW...
