1968 first digit of the SO number will tell you what plant car was from, so will the VIN so see if those match and no VIN swap was done. Kind of a good check for 1969 cars.

Never mind guys. I found out that the code 330 is a street side bleed over from the '64 year describing the low line grade sedans. The '65 2 door sedans are just simply designated as Coronet sedan.
It got heater controls in the dash, so the answer here is No

Have I been wrong all this time in indicating that a 1965 Dodge Coronet plain Jane sedan is a 330?
330 being the lowest grade model in the semi crowded field of 440-500 models in 1964 and before supposedly was discontinued in the '65 year. Am I wrong or right?.
Your lifters are probably collapsed. Prime the engine and turn it by hand (have a friend help) to get them to pump up then adjust them. Personally I zero lash them just give them a thou or two. But do it how you like them.
a little off ur question, but back in the day there was a class break for a hemi B body car between 66 and 67 , 67 ran e , 66 ran d , e had a softer record untill I reset it (AHRA) , set it with a broken outer valve spring on no 5 cyl. , record only held up about 3 months and somebody back east...
