The service manual describes the procedure and I watched a video on how it's done. They use a 3/16" rod to hold the top bell crank. It says that you have to use a "special" tool at the linkage on the transmission to hold it so you can adjust the length of the intermediate rod. Does anyone know...

I don't have the broadcast sheet. Pictures of the car when it was new show that it had Magnum 500 wheels on it. they are long gone. It currently has 14" rallye rims with 20 year old tires. I would like to go to 15" rallye wheels with the proper Goodyear F60-15 tires.

I'm new to this. Where would I check the line pressure? Is there a test port on the transmission? Is this something I can do myself in my shop? My sense is that this car was restored to OEM specs but never driven and needs a bunch of sorting.

Does anyone have the specifications on what the trim rings should look like for a Superbird with 15" Raylle rims? Should they be a brushed finish or polished chrome or? Thank you in advance.
