Is the starter relay the problem?

But that's the problem, I don't know any of that. I'm kinda a Noob at electrics.

Is the starter relay the problem?

I have the final verdict. The FSM said the middle pin is the NSS and the outer pins are the back up lights. Well, a day or 2 ago we noticed every light out side the car worked except the back up lights. That was the smoking gun. I climbed under there and tested the NSS any way. It was bad. I...

Is the starter relay the problem?

We replaced the starter relay but it didn't change anything. What is the easiest way to test the neutral safety switch? I have a 1 pole (threaded stud) NSS in a bag here that says 65-68. And then I have a 3 smooth pin NSS but I don't know what year it's for. Thanks for the help.

You say you measured the piston. Where at on the piston? Did you measure where the piston mfg said?

Is the starter relay the problem?

OK, I tried that, and it didn't crank, so we're going to get a new one in the morning. I'll report back.

Is the starter relay the problem?

I was looking at that bulkhead connector (and the others) and wanted to pull them apart and put them back together. There has to be corrosion after 55 years. We're going to fiddle with it this afternoon and try to find the problem.

Is the starter relay the problem?

When you turn the key the oil light dims but the starter doesn't engage. You can jump it across the relay and it starts fine. Is that normally the starter relay? I guess the neutral safety switch would be another suspect? 1969 Road Runner, auto trans. Thanks

    Head gasket spacer

If you already made the aluminum shims I guess they will work. Mopar made a .060" spacer kit for that, P4120176. Those spacers and a .040" head gasket on each side would work.

    Machine Shop Costs, 440 Build

Bear in mind these are Mopar parts, therefore if you don't have them now, you may never get them. Like those rocker arms. They have been out of stock forever. Comp is finishing up 33 sets of them. 32 are sold.......

    Machine Shop Costs, 440 Build

I personally wouldn't pay $5 to rebuild stock heads because I hate them and Stealths are $1400. So I wouldn't pay $1440 to rebuild those and another $500 for springs/retainers. But that's just me. Other people have their own ideas and I respect that.

1966 Charger Hemi No Sale Again at Mecum

There was on sold new in my small hometown. I assume hers would have been an auto. I wish they would give some history. That would help. If it was hers I would want it. As stated above it would probably be expensive to restore.

    They're still out there...

Sorry guys, I'm not a purist. If I restore that car it's getting a white bumble bee stipe and I'm leaving the power brakes off. Well, sorry, it's getting a Dana too. I'm just can't do right.

He told his daughter that she couldn't even have it after he dies. He told her, "You can have the Road Runner". Now that's a man that doesn't want to get rid of his Super Bee.

I'm hemicarless right now and have been looking for a project to keep me busy. That car would certainly keep me busy. When I look at it I have this desire to bring it back. I have the most wonderful body man in the world a few miles away. There is an interior shop in town. I have friends that...

It looks like B51 on the tag, I thought that meant power brakes, but I didn't see power brakes. One decoder I used said something about black vinyl top. Do you think that's what it is?

And a few years of hard labor and chasing parts. Thousands of phone calls. Might get by on less than 100 if you did all you can by yourself, but you would go over on the labor.
