Dont bother spraying more clear over your blotchy factory clear. It won’t cover the blotchy spots and it will peel because the factory clear is releasing from the base. Ask me how I know. Repaint is your only option.

I woke up my '67 R/T from its hibernation, and drive it into town for fresh gas. The price of fuel has dropped really low, so I filled her up with Mobil 93. Champagne! I had the rear springs rebuilt with about 2" rise, and I think it actually rides better now.
