    Water is heavier than at least motor oil. Not sure about gear though. Thats the only thing I could think of for it rising. Water somehow came in through the vent. Might need to get out the suck o lux and pull what you can out through the fill hole. Or pop the axles out some and drop the center...

    If it was mine, I would would leave the distribution block alone and plumb an adjustable proportioning valve Into the rear circuit.

    4638 os for a 1969. Use the thin base gasket on a 1969 or your choke will not work right.

    June 15 (or November 15) scheduled production date? Are the remaining 7 digits serial# from the broadcast sheet, or do they also ID the manufacturing plant location. Seats were recovered. Do not have broadcast sheet (or fender tag)

    I would probably agree on leaving them, but I would try to lightly de-burr the tapered entrances so they are smooth and uniform. You do want to go back with a leather pump. They are more durable than the others. You want to use a 4 hole gasket, assuming you have a factory 4-hole intake. If...
