    Windshield Wiper assembly 68 GTX

I think sticking with the stock set up would be better especially since it’s a complete restoration. Though I have to say the wiper motor you pictured is something I never thought of or seen before. Something new I learned. Good luck with your project, it would be interesting to follow your...

    Vacuum or mechanical secondary

When my engine guy had my engine on the dyno, they both commented about how well my carb was tuned. I had this this carb on my old engine. I was just wondering because I bought this Edelbrock for $200 new in the box. I could buy a Fitech system that he has for 1/2 of new.

That $2500 eBay block is worth about $100 or so more than any other 440 block. There are plenty of good core blocks out there on Marketplace and Craigslist for 1/5th of that price.

What did I do wrong here (HEI Conversion)

@zombezoo the flamethrower lll coil is simply pulling to much current. The coil is just to hot for the standard HEI module. Your 1.5 ohm is pulling much less hence less heat. Although u are leaving some potential energy on the table.. Look up the primary resistance of an actual factory in...

    Vacuum or mechanical secondary

I've got 4 carbs: a 600 V/S Holley, a 650 AVS2, a 700 Holley D/P, and my new favourite, a Holley 650 D/P. The Double Pumpers feel better to me on the street. I've run them when the car was auto and now as a 5 spd manual. The car feels more responsive with the D/P carbs. Gas mileage has been...

What did you do to your Mopar today?

Took Shirley for a ride. Floored it. Quite a bit more giddy up than before. Shifts are good. Not enough room to get top gear. Uses more gas with the four barrels open. You big block guys must use quite a bit of petrol.

Forget that $2500 block. The other one is a cleaned up core that supposedly is crack free. If so, its a reasonable deal. But it does say it will need cyl boring and maybe line boring so you need to figure on shop costs for that. 73-75 block - I think that's fine.
