You can substitute the regular high jets using the standard height jet...just use the three step metering rods and metering rod cover plate and step,up piston. The mixture calibration may change slightly but its not the end of the world. Remember....don't just COMPARE diameter...
As a lot of members have already stated , it comes down to how well you have the carb tuned. People that have had a VS and then throw on a DP and say it was like a hole new car... chances are that the VS carb just wasn't tuned correctly. They threw on the DP and it was probably set up closer...
My 67 coronet has a fuel cell in the trunk that I want to remove. When I open the filler door there is a pot metal piece attached to the quarter but the connection to the trunk floor is missing. Anyone know what this piece is called and is there a seal to where it gies through the floor?
